October 2024: October, Greatest Month of the Year?

What a year, what a month, what a moment in time. I often have the “greatest month of the year conversation” with friends and typically cast my vote for May. However, this year, I’m going with October. It’s hard not to feel optimistic when you’re surrounded by so much beauty. The changing leaves, the perfect weather, and the warmth one generally feels most places you venture, no matter what the news or the internet may tell you. Life may not always be easy, but it is often very beautiful.

Saturday In October

I couldn’t agree more. Imagine the possibilities... This time of year feels very reflective for some reason. The excitement for the holidays is becoming more within reach and I’m hoping that time starts to slow down with the colder weather. Just because the clocks turn back an hour this Sunday, the election is next week, and we’re about to enter the colder season, we’ll always have October to look back on when we’re in the throes of January.

Look at the bright side, at least it’s almost over. Whatever happens, we’re all going to be OK. I’m a history fanatic and no doubt, this last year has been one for the books. I think it’s safe to say that regardless of the outcome, it will be good to move forward and get back to normal. No matter who’s in charge, we are blessed to be Americans. Until next month!
